Cemetery/Funeral Home COO-Cemetery / Funeral Home Combo
located in a Gulf Coast State is seeking an experienced cemeterian
/ funeral director to oversee operations. This combo location has a
great heritage in the community and as family owned and operated.
We're seeking a highly motivated leader with a demonstrated record
of strong organization, sales and supervisory skills who can assist in
the day-to-day operations of this business and become part of our
family structure. The compensation package will include incentives
for meeting sales performance goals and operational profitability.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead Funeral Directors, Sales Manager and location staff.
  • Assure the operating practices comply with the appropriate regulations and
    company policies.
  • Assure the staff understands location goals, policies and procedures.
  • Develop staff with the skills necessary to serve family's needs.
  • Ensure all services exceed the expectations of the families we serve.
  • Increase marketing and overall community involvement.
  • Serve as mentor and coach to all employees.
  • Practice and promote teamwork among all of the staff.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a funeral director/cemeterian/funeral
    manager, preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years management or office management experience,
    preferred.
  • Familiarity with Alabama Laws.
  • Knowledge of various funeral management software programs,
    including HMIS, preferred.
